Samples of most projects are hanging in the store, so stop by to see them!
Stop by, e-mail, or call to sign up for classes. A deposit is required for all classes.
Class Refund Policy: No refunds or credits will be given if you miss a class. You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Refunds will be given for classes cancelled by Sew Creative or the class instructor.
Purchases on Class Supplies: We offer a 10% discount on your class supplies purchased at Sew Creative! Attend Girls Night Out and receive a 10% discount on anything you purchase! (no Rewards Cards stamped with these special savings). Excludes sewing machines, software and repairs.
SIT & SEW - Every Tuesday from 9:30-Noon with Janet Barnet. Cost is $12 for each session, or you can purchase a punch card for either 5 classes for $55 or 10 classes for $100. Cards are non-transferable and good for 6 months. You can just drop in -no reservations necessary.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT - Usually the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 6-11 p.m. Five hours of uninterrupted sewing - no husbands or kids to distract you! Work on a project of your choice, get expert help, and have join in the lively conversations with other sewers!

JANUARY 2010 CLASSES
FAST FOOD TABLE RUNNER
Tuesdays, January 26, February 9, 16 (3 sessions), 6:30-9 p.m. Teacher: Danielle Povey. Cost: $45.
From the book Let's Do Lunch by Atkinson Designs. Use a colorful stripe for the center and add a coordinating fabric. Great for learning how to put blocks "on point". this class is great if you want to learn how to quilt and is suitable for beginners as long as you know how to use your sewing machine and sew a straight line.
SERGER BASICS
Saturday, January 30, 2-4 p.m. Teacher: Sandy Nickell. Cost: $25.
Learn how to thread your serger and find out what you can do with it! This class is FREE if you recently purchased a serger from Sew Creative!
FEBRUARY CLASSES
FINISHING CLASS FOR BLOCK OF THE MONTH
Saturday, February 6, 9:30-11:30 OR 12:30-2:30. Teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $10.
Work on your sashing and borders and learn how to insert the cornerstone blocks.
PERFECT TEN QUILT
Mondays, February 8, 15, 22 (3 sessions), 7-9 p.m. Teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $50 includes pattern.
This fun quilt is a great way to show off those large scale prints that you don't know what to do with. It takes ten fat quarters, plus accent and border fabric, to make the quilt. Rotary cutting and straight piecing makes this a great class for beginners!
EMBROIDERY CLUB
Friday, February 12 from 2-4 p.m. OR Saturday, February 13 from 2-4 p.m. Teacher: Sandy Nickell. Cost: $25 includes kit.
Sandy will have a quick project for you to make as she teaches you a new embroidery and hooping technique.
HAND PIECING
Saturdays, February 13 & 20 (2 sessions), 9:30-2 (bring your lunch) Teacher: Lisa Driscoll. Cost: $35.
Learn the traditional technique of hand piecing your quilt blocks together.
COVERSTITCH T-SHIRT (made with your serger)
Thursdays, Feb. 25, Mar. 4, 11, 18 (4 sessions), 2-4 p.m. Teacher: Sandy Nickell. Cost: $65 includes CD tutorial and pattern!

BEGINNING MACHINE QUILTING

Do you have a stack of quilt tops waiting to be finished? You will learn the basics of machine quilting from the walking foot to free motion, talk about thread and needle choices, then spend time practicing techinques.
MARCH CLASSES
TWIST & TURN

Perfect quilt for beginners from Alex Anderson's Simple Quilts #1 book. Learn how to use your rotary cutter and ruler, read a quilting pattern, and make perfect quarter inch seams.
PROFESSIONAL TOTE
