Stop by, e-mail or call to sign up for classes. A deposit is required for all classes. Class Refund Policy:No refunds or credits will be given if you miss a class. You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Refunds will be given for classes cancelled by Sew Creative or the class instructor. Purchase your class supplies from us and receive a 10% discount! Attend Girls Night Out and receive a 10% discount on anything you purchase! (no Rewards Cards stamped with these special savings). Excludes sewing machines, software and repairs. SIT & SEW - Every Tuesday from 9:30-Noon with Janet Barnet. Cost is $12 for each session, or you can purchase a punch card - 5 classes for $55 or 10 classes for $100. Cards are non-transferable and good for 6 months. You can just drop in - no reservations necessary. GIRLS NIGHT OUT - Usually the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 6-11 p.m. Five hours of uninterrupted sewing - no husbands or kids to distract you! Work on a project of your choice, get expert help, and join in the lively conversations with other sewers! $20 per session. |
JULY CLASSES
CHRISTMAS BLOCK OF THE MONTH 
Janet has come up with a stunning new block of the month project that will be ready for you to use during the holiday season! This will be taught as a class on either a Thursday from 1-3:30 or a Monday night from 6:30-9. The pattern and fabrics are included in this class and will be in a kit for you each time you meet. July classes are on either Wednesday, July 7 from 1-3:30 p.m. (first month is a Wednesday, the rest of the classes will be on Thursday afternoons) OR Monday, July 12 from 6-9:30. You will be given a schedule of class dates when you sign up for the class. Cost is $30 each month. Pay for all six classes up front and the price is $160, a savings of $20! (Keepsake Quilting is offering this BOM at $30 a month plus $4 shipping each month for a total of $170 with no class!)
JELLY ROLL LOG CABIN STARS - Thursdays, July 8, 15, 22 (3 sessions), 7-9 p.m. Teacher: Lisa Driscoll. Cost: $50. Use one jelly roll or 40, 2-1/2" light and dark strips to make this log cabin quilt with stars. Very easy, suitable for beginners.
TROPICAL TABLE RUNNER - Tuesdays, July 13 & 27 (2 sessions) from 6:30-9 p.m. with Danielle Povey. cost: $50 includes pattern. This is a light and breezy table runner by Patrick Lose just in time for summer. The project uses fusible applique techniques.
FINISHING CLASS - Sunday, July 11 from 12-4 p.m. Teacher: Lisa Driscoll. Cost: $35. Learn how to put the borders on your quilt, make a quilt sandwich, and learn binding techniques. Bring a project that you want to finish and be well on your way by the end of the class!
BASIC MACHINE QUILTING - Saturday, July 17 from 9:30-Noon. teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $25 includes supplies. Do you have a stack of quilt tops waiting to be finished? You will learn the basics of machine quilting from the walking foot to free motion, talk about thread and needle choices, then spend time practicing techniques. If the class fills we will add another from 1-3:30.
QUILTS ON BARNS - Thursdays, July 29, August 12 & 26, September 9 (4 sessions). Teacher: Lisa Driscoll. Cost: $65. Using Eleanor Burns' new book Quilt Blocks on American Barns, make a series of American barns which each feature a different quilt "painted" on it. these blocks have lots of artistic and embellishment opportunities.

BEGINNING SEWING FOR KIDS (no adults allowed!)
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, July 13, 14, 15 OR July 20, 21, 22 from 10-12. Teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $50 includes supplies. Children must be age 8 or above. Learn how to use a sewing machine and make three projects!
FAST FOOD TABLE RUNNER - Tuesdays, August 10 & 24 (2 sessions), 6:30-9 p.m. Teacher: Danielle Povey. Cost: $35. From the book Let's Do Lunch by Atkinson Designs. Use a colorful stripe for the center and add a coordinating fabric. This class is great if you want to learn how to quilt and is suitable for beginners as long as you know how to use your sewing machine and sew a straight line.
UNDER THE SEA TABLE RUNNER - Saturdays, August 14, 21, 28 (3 sessions), 9:30-12. Teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $135 includes your classes and a kit with your pattern, fabrics and crystals for embellishment. This is a beautiful, artistic table runner featuring a pattern from Mount Redoubt Designs and Hoffman Fabrics. Use fusible webbing to complete your applique and embellish with quilting and crystals.
