CHIC TRAVEL ACCESSORIES– Saturday, February 4, 1 til done (approx. 3 hrs.) Teacher: Bonnie Julien. Cost: $45 includes class, embroidery CD and supplies. Make a "chic" laundry bag for your favorite fashionista! The embroidery designs use one color and there are several to choose from. Please come in to pay for your class and pick up the embroidery CD so you can transfer it to your machine prior to class. 
 
 
 

BOSTON BASKET – Mondays, February 6, 13, 20 from 6:30-9 p.m.  Teacher:  Janet Barnet.  Cost:   $50.  This quilt is from Atkinson Designs book My Red Sofa and will include piecing and some appliqué.  An easy, fun project.  Fill up the baskets with flowers for the spring!
 

 
EYE GLASS CASE - Saturday, February 11 from 1 p.m. until done!  Teacher:  Janet Barnet.  Cost:  $20.  Janet is going to do a series of classes using the book Bags - the Modern Classics.  She will start with the easy projects and work her way up to the more complex bags.  The eyeglass/sunglass case is very quick and easy.  You can add piping on the flap, use home decorator or cotton fabric, and use a magnetic snap for the closure.
 
EMBROIDERY BASICS - Saturdays, February 18, 25, March 10 (3 sessions) from 1-4 p.m. Teacher: Sandy Nickell. Cost: $75. Do you have a new embroidery machine and want to learn how to make beautiful embroideries with it? Sandy is our resident expert! In the first class you will learn some of the embroidery basics - hooping, stabilizers, thread, etc. - and you will stitch out a small design. On Feb. 25 you will get acquainted with your embroidery software so will need to bring your laptop loaded with your software. If you need help getting your software installed, please call and make arrangements to come in with your laptop and we will help you install it. At the last class you will stitch out the design you made in the software class and make a small door pillow to welcome spring!
 
BEGINNING SEWING FOR KIDS - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, February 21, 22, 23 (3 sessions) from 10-12.  Teacher:  Janet Barnet.  Cost:  $75 includes all supplies.  This class is just about full and we'll be putting children on a wait list.  If we have enough for a second class, it will be from 1-3 on the same days.  Both boys and girls over 8 years old are welcome!
 
WAFFLE TIME TABLE RUNNER - Sundays, February 26 & March 4 (2 sessions), 1-3 p.m.  Teacher:  Lisa Driscoll.  Cost:  $40 includes pattern.  This very easy table runner is a perfect next project if you've just started to quilt or if you know how to sew but want to sew something different.  A large print that you don't want to cut up into small pieces works well with this pattern.

PAPER PIECING SERIES – Monday, January 30, February 27, March 26, April 30, 6:30-9 p.m. Cost: $25 includes kit . You will be using Carol Doak’s new book called 50 Little Paper-Pieced Blocks. Some of the patterns are seasonal and others can be used any time. We will supply a kit each month with options to make one or two blocks. Cost will be $25 for each session which includes the kit. You must purchase your book before the first class. Dates are Jan. 30, Feb. 27, Mar. 26, Apr. 30.
MARCH
Radient Star Quilt- Mondays, March 5, 12, 19 (3 sessions) from 6:30-9.  Teacher:  Janet Barnet.  Cost:  $50.  If you've wanted to make a Lone Star Quilt, this is a good start for you! Test your skills on these small stars and save them to make a larger 60" x 60" quilt.  You will be using Eleanor Burns' Radiant Star book.
 
Wristlet Zipper Purse - Sunday, March 11 from 1-4 p.m.  Teacher:  Janet Barnet.  Cost:  $25.  This is the second project from the Bags-the Modern Classics book.  You can make this purse with or without the wrist strap.  Learn to add a zipper and make pleats.
 
APRIL
Josephine's Know Quilt- Mondays, April 9, 16, 23 from 6:30-9 (3 sessions) from 6:30-9. Teacher: Janet Barnet. Cost: $50. This is a great class to perfect your rotary cutting techniques and practive your 1/4" seams.  A fun and fast quilt to make.
